Forma Life Science Marketing joined forces with the BIG Council and NC BioConnect of the greater Charlotte area to present “Understanding Buying Behavior,” a lecture and interactive marketing workshop from Forma CEO and chief strategist, David Chapin.
Chapin, a highly regarded thought leader who specializes in strategic marketing development for fast-growth and emerging markets, spoke to local life science, pharma, biotech and medical device industry professionals on what science has discovered about buying behavior in consultative selling. Topics included the six stages of buying behavior, type of support at each stage and effective ways to provide support though marketing and sales communications. The presentation took place on September 9, 2010 from 3:00 – 5:30 pm at the Nascar Hall of Fame Legends Room.
“The recent state of the economy puts even greater importance on understanding buying behavior and providing buyers with the correct information at each stage of the consultative sales process,” said Chapin.
