By David Chapin
Forma Life Science Marketing, a leading marketing firm for life science, biotech and pharma companies, today announced that David Chapin, CEO and chief strategist is presenting a lecture at the East Carolina University Entrepreneurial Initiative on Monday, June 21, 2010.
Chapin will speak with an audience made up of ECU faculty and local technology entrepreneurs, each with an idea in various stages of development for which they will soon seek funding. The presentation entitled, “Marketing for Entrepreneurs: Positioning Your Product for Market” will cover developing effective positioning for fundraising and market entry.
“The Entrepreneurial Initiative is an excellent opportunity to cultivate technology development and growth within the state,” said Chapin. “As part of this, it is essential that these ideas start with a secure business plan that includes the positioning necessary to secure funding and enter the market.”
The Entrepreneurial Initiative was developed to foster entrepreneurship within the university system and eastern North Carolina. The Initiative seeks to create regional partnerships with public and private organizations to help the university develop companies and take products and services to market, stimulate innovation throughout the business community and foster practical experience for ECU students in an entrepreneurial environment.
